Tabs I'm not closing because they're too cute:
The orphaned hedgehogs that snuggle with the cleaning brush and The Flo Project - an image recognition cat door.

Currently listening to: Music Box Classical Moments. The Porter Music Boxes are amazing things. The sound is ethereal, like a harp made of bells. Really gorgeous.

FontFrenzy - great freeware app for managing fonts. Makes it much easier to get Vista to agree to install them.

Awww, Sunshine in a Jar! Much better than sunshine in a cat. What disturbs me about the cat lamps is the location of the cord...

I switch between desktop and laptop on a regular basis. It's nice to be able to go remote and socialize while keeping an eye on things I have running.
I have Firefox on both machines, and I've been really enjoying Foxmarks, an add-on that synchronizes bookmarks across specified computers. It makes shifting research from one place or another much, much simpler.

I'm currently gearing up for Dragon*Con in Atlanta. I make this an annual tradition with a close friend of mine, but I was excited to learn that the Dragon Moon Press folks are going to be in attendance this year, too. I'll finally get to meet some of the people I edit for, including the author of one of the manuscripts I'm working with.
Working from home for a company thousands of miles away, and an author halfway around the world, makes you appreciate the chance to get face-time with your coworkers and employers.

And for my next project...
I really want to make the MST3K Baby Blanket. It wouldn't have to be baby sized...

As much as I dislike perfumes and fragrances, I have to say that L'Occitane Honey Gentle Water is really very nice.
